The 22nd Kyiv Food and Wine Festival: Two Days of Pure Wine Inspiration

The 22nd Kyiv Food and Wine Festival: Two Days of Pure Wine Inspiration

On June 7–8, the team of Big Wines and 46 Parallel Wine Group took part in Ukraine’s premier wine event — the 22nd Kyiv Food and Wine Festival. These were two incredibly warm and vibrant days filled with wine, taste, music, and genuine emotions.

Since 2014, the festival has been shaping Ukraine’s wine culture, bringing together winemakers, artisan food producers, and wine lovers from across the country. This year, leading Ukrainian wineries presented their best releases, while the food court delighted guests with craft cheeses, seafood, and dishes from contemporary Ukrainian cuisine.

At our stand, we proudly showcased:

  • New releases from Big Wines and 46 Parallel collections

  • A wide selection of white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines

  • Elegant food & wine pairings with our partners: Glek Restaurant, Rebernya, @oyster.market.ua, TM Yalta, and more

A highlight of the festival was the captivating tasting lecture “Telti-Kuruk — Ukrainian Autochthon. From Vineyard to Glass” by Nataliya Kameneva and Artem Taran, revealing the depth of this indigenous Ukrainian grape and its terroir.
We also thank Evgenia Pustovit for presenting new releases from 46 Parallel and the exciting new El Capitan range.

🏅 Another important event was the Uwines Awards ceremony, where leading sommeliers and wine experts evaluated Ukrainian wines on a 100-point scale.

📸 A powerful moment was the presentation of the “Wine of Memory” project by Arsen Fedosenko — a talented photographer and defender who tragically lost his life in the war. The festival featured a photo exhibition, and all proceeds from the photo sales were donated to support a drone pilot training school through the Ukrainian Architectural Chamber Foundation.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited our stand.
Your smiles, sincere words, and love for Ukrainian wine are what inspire us to move forward.

Special thanks to our fellow winemakers and friends:
