Big Wines Renounces International Awards in Defense of Ukraine's Territorial Integrity

BIG WINES - UKRAINIAN WINE PRODUCER

We hereby renounce the awards received at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, held in Armenia on 21–23 May 2026, for our BIG WINES BIG ART and 46 PARALLEL brands.

This decision follows the organizers' breach of the trust placed in them by participants. Acting at their own discretion, they created a fictitious country category named "CRIMEA" and a region named "CRIMEA", allowing wines produced in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukraine, to participate under this designation. At the same time, they refused to recognize these wines as products originating from the territory of Ukraine, which has been occupied and illegally held by the Russian Federation to this day.

This is not merely a matter of wine. It is a matter of international law, truth, and respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. We cannot accept awards from a competition that legitimizes the illegal occupation of Ukrainian territory through the misrepresentation of the origin of its products.

Crimea is Ukraine.
