BIG WINES and 46 Parallel - participants of the “IP Practice 2025” Forum

On October 10, one of the most anticipated and significant professional events of the year - the “IP Practice 2025” Forum, organized by the National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine, took place in Kyiv.

The forum brought together leading experts, lawyers, scholars, business leaders, and industry representatives from around the world to discuss key issues in the field of trademarks, patents, copyright, and intellectual property disputes.

The event’s program was rich and diverse. The forum began with a practical section - a mock battle based on a real high-profile case, where participants discussed effective strategies for dispute resolution. The second part focused on technology and business, particularly patent disputes and unconventional patenting objects in various jurisdictions.

A special highlight of the forum was the session dedicated to distinctive signs, where the latest trends in the field of trademarks were presented. The final session focused on copyright, covering topics from folk crafts to digital media, memes, and reels - exploring what exactly is protected by law and what lies beyond its scope.

Among the distinguished speakers were Dr. Ricardo Nunez, owner of the international group of companies Vinos de La Luz, and Natalia Burlachenko, CEO of Big Wines and 46 Parallel Wine Group.

During his speech, Dr. Nunez shared his vision of the global wine industry’s development and emphasized the importance of protecting intellectual property in the context of branding, geographical indications, and product authenticity. Natalia Burlachenko highlighted the importance of building a brand through cultural identity, art, and origin - illustrating this idea with the Big Wines Big Art concept, a unique fusion of winemaking and Ukrainian art.

We express our sincere gratitude to Yulia Prokhoda for the professional organization of the forum and for the invitation to participate. For Big Wines and 46 Parallel Wine Group, it was not only an honor but also an opportunity to engage in a professional dialogue that shapes the future of the market - one where intellectual property becomes the foundation of development and trust in brands.

Big Wines and 46 Parallel are always delighted to be part of events that unite leaders, innovators, and visionaries who create a new culture of Ukrainian business.
