Big Wines at London Wine Fair 2025: Ukrainian Wine in the Spotlight

From May 19 to 21, 2025, Big Wines took part in one of the world’s most prominent wine industry events - the London Wine Fair. Held in the heart of the UK capital, this exhibition annually gathers top producers, importers, distributors, sommeliers, industry experts, and wine enthusiasts from around the globe.

This year marked the third time that the national stand Wines of Ukraine was represented at the fair - a strong testament to the growing interest in Ukrainian winemaking on the international stage. Big Wines was proud to showcase its wines alongside other outstanding Ukrainian wineries. The high quality, uniqueness of grape varieties, and bold visual identity of our brand drew great interest and admiration from the professional audience and guests alike.

Big Wines was represented at the fair by: Nataliia Burlachenko, CEO of Big Wines and Ricardo Nuñez, owner of the international wine group Vinos de La Luz and a strategic investor in Ukrainian winemaking.

Among the highlights of the event was the Big Wines Big Art collection, whose labels feature fragments of paintings by the renowned Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk. The fusion of winemaking and high art captured the attention of visitors - many stopped to photograph the bottles, ask about the artist, and were visibly impressed by the cultural richness behind each wine.

Guests had the opportunity to taste:
Big Wines Big Art Odesa Black - a powerful, rich red wine made from an indigenous Ukrainian grape. Deep flavors of black berries, noble tannins, and a velvety finish made it a true discovery for many tasters.
Big Wines Big Art Telti-Kuruk - an elegant white wine from a rare local variety, offering a refined profile with floral
and apple notes, and refreshing minerality.

Big Wines Big Art Sukholymanskyi - an elegant white wine made from the indigenous Ukrainian grape variety Sukholymanskyi. It stands out for its freshness, transparent mineral profile, and delicate aromas of citrus and white fruits . This wine impressed tasters with its refined character and expressive terroir - a true voice of Ukrainian soil in a glass.

Big Wines Big Art Pinot Noir Rose - a light, delicate rosé wine with soft notes of strawberry, raspberry, and citrus - perfectly suited to the spring mood of the exhibition.

Participating in such global events reinforces our belief that Ukrainian winemaking is ready for the world stage. With quality, authenticity, and storytelling at its core, our wine culture deserves its place among the world’s best.

We are sincerely grateful to the organizers, partners, and all the visitors who supported Ukrainian wine and discovered its excellence - one glass at a time.
