European Spring in Dijon — 2025

In May 2025, the annual celebration of European Spring took place in the city of Dijon (France), with the participation — for the fourth time — of the UDB Association (Ukraine-Dijon-Bourgogne). This cultural event became a wonderful opportunity to introduce Ukrainian winemaking to the European public.

This year, Big Wines proudly presented their wines at the celebration, and they immediately sparked genuine interest, emotion, and admiration among the event’s guests.

As part of the tasting, the following wines were showcased:

Big Wines Big Art Odeskyi Chornyi — a deep, dense, and intense red wine that reflects the character of an indigenous Ukrainian grape variety. It offers rich black berry notes, noble tannins, and a long velvety finish. This wine was a true discovery for the French audience, who didn’t expect such an expressive and emotional flavor profile.

Big Wines Big Art Telti-Kuruk — an elegant white wine made from the rare Ukrainian grape variety Telti-Kuruk. It impressed guests with its purity, freshness, and minerality, as well as its complex aromas of flowers, cream, and green apple. This variety is a true pride of Ukrainian viticulture, and its uniqueness was warmly appreciated at the event.

Big Wines Big Art Pinot Noir Rosé — a refined, light, and graceful rosé wine made from the noble Pinot Noir grape. It offers delicate notes of strawberry, raspberry, and subtle citrus hints, creating a harmonious flavor and a smooth finish. It matched the spring atmosphere of the festival perfectly and became a favorite among many visitors.

Special attention was drawn to the wine labels of the Big Wines Big Art collection — each bottle is adorned with a fragment of a painting by the renowned Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk. His profound art, reflecting the soul of Ukraine, was greatly admired in France: guests photographed the bottles, asked about the artist, and were deeply impressed by the fusion of winemaking and fine art.

Participation in such events is not only an opportunity to share the quality and uniqueness of our wines with the world but also an important step toward the international recognition of Ukrainian winemaking as part of modern European culture.

We are grateful to everyone who supports and discovers Ukrainian wine — glass by glass.
