Big Wines Recognized at Ukraine Wine&Spirits Awards 2025

On April 22, 2025, one of the most prestigious international wine and spirits tasting competitions - Ukraine Wine&Spirits Awards - took place at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Big Wines had the honor of participating in the event. The judging panel included some of the top sommeliers from Ukraine and Europe, ensuring a high level of professional evaluation.

The awards ceremony was held the following day - April 23, as part of the Wine&Spirits Forum 2025, an international gathering of wine and spirits producers. This year’s forum focused on the theme: “The European Integration Path of Ukrainian Wine: Challenges and Opportunities.”

The forum brought together winemakers, spirits producers, government officials, leading industry experts, buyers, sommeliers, and exporters. Participants discussed the key challenges facing Ukraine’s wine industry and explored development prospects at both national and international levels.

The forum was organized by the Association of Craft Winemakers of Ukraine, Wines of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was supported by leading industry media partners - Drinks+, PostEat, and the magazine “Beverages. Technologies & Innovations.”

Among the forum’s keynote speakers were Nataliia Burlachenko, Director of Big Wines and Deputy Head of the NGO “UKRSADVYNPROM” for international affairs, and Ricardo F. Nunez, owner of the international wine group Vinos de la Luz and investor in Ukrainian winemaking. Their speeches focused on European integration initiatives in the wine sector, including simplification of procedures for entering international markets.

The culmination of the event was the announcement of the competition results, which once again confirmed the high quality of Big Wines products: our wines were awarded a total of four medals - one gold, two silver, and one bronze.

This recognition not only inspires our team but also strengthens the image of Ukraine as a wine-producing country with great potential. We move forward with confidence in our capabilities and a strong belief in the international future of Ukrainian wine.
