The Big Wines team, together with Nataliia Burlachenko, visited Gigineishvili Wine House in Vinnytsia - one of Ukraine's modern wineries dedicated to promoting the culture of high-quality Ukrainian wine.
The event brought together representatives of the Association of Winemakers of Podillia, the Ukrainian Association of Viticulturists and Winemakers (UVWA), as well as Ukrainian winemakers and industry experts. The winery became a meeting place for people united by a shared passion for winemaking, a commitment to preserving and developing Ukrainian wine traditions, exchanging knowledge, and shaping the future of Ukrainian wine together.
A highlight of the program was a comparative professional wine tasting, where Nataliia Burlachenko, Bohdan Pavlii, Bakota Wine, Author's Wines from the Banks of the Dniester, and ShevWinery presented their wines. Participants had the opportunity to exchange professional insights, discuss current trends in Ukrainian winemaking, explore the unique characteristics of different terroirs, and share their approaches to crafting quality wines.
Events like these play an essential role in the development of the industry. Open dialogue, the exchange of experience, and professional collaboration are what drive Ukrainian winemaking forward and strengthen its position both nationally and internationally.
We sincerely thank Gigineishvili Wine House for the warm hospitality and excellent organization, and all participants for the inspiring discussions, new connections, and shared commitment to advancing Ukrainian wine.
We firmly believe that it is through gatherings like these that new ideas emerge, partnerships grow stronger, and a united winemaking community is built - one that proudly represents Ukraine on the global wine stage.
Together, we are shaping the future of Ukrainian winemaking. 🍷🇺🇦
