Art and Wine: Big Wines and Students Visit Ivan Marchuk Exhibition in Kyiv

The team of Big Wines, together with representatives and students of Nemishaeve Professional College of NUBiP of Ukraine, visited the Museum of the History of Kyiv, where an exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk was on display.

During the visit, participants immersed themselves in the deep and multi-layered world of the artist - subtle, emotional, and rich in meaning. The museum representatives introduced guests to Marchuk’s most iconic works, his unique artistic technique, and key moments of his creative journey. Each painting revealed itself as a distinct story, inviting reflection and offering a profound emotional experience.

The visit became not only a cultural highlight but also an important educational experience for the students, who had the opportunity to connect directly with Ukraine’s artistic heritage and better understand how art shapes identity and values.

A special part of the experience was the contribution of Nataliia Burlachenko, who shared insights into the collaboration with Ivan Marchuk. She spoke about the Big Wines Big Art collection, whose labels feature fragments of the artist’s works, and about the concept of combining wine and art as two complementary forms of expression. Both, she noted, are born from inspiration, time, and a deep connection to land and culture.

Particular attention was given to how this synergy contributes to shaping a modern image of Ukraine internationally. The combination of Ukrainian art and Ukrainian wine creates a strong and recognizable cultural message that resonates with global audiences.

The students were genuinely impressed and inspired by the experience. The opportunity for direct interaction, discussion, and immersion in art provided them with new perspectives and motivation for their future paths.

For Big Wines, such initiatives are of great importance, as they support cultural development, promote education, and contribute to shaping a new generation of passionate and forward-thinking professionals.

We believe that experiences like these foster a deeper understanding of identity and inspire the continued development of Ukrainian culture - modern, strong, and confidently represented on the global stage.
