National Legends of Ukraine - the Voice and Pride of Our Nation

At the end of August, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the annual “National Legend of Ukraine” award to 18 outstanding Ukrainians and international figures whose contributions have strengthened the country through the defense of Ukraine, culture, art, sports, science, philanthropy, and other areas of national development. The ceremony was held to mark the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine’s independence.

This year’s recipients are people whose talent, dedication, and achievements continue to shape Ukraine’s modern identity and strengthen its presence on the global stage.
