On February 27, a tasting of Ukrainian wines took place in Dijon as part of the international colloquium
“Gastronomies et vins du monde: la diversité culturelle à l’épreuve de la standardisation des pratiques”,
held under the patronage of UNESCO, the UNESCO Chair “Cultures and Traditions of Wine,” Université Bourgogne Europe, Métropole de Dijon, and the Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin.

The tasting provided an important opportunity for international participants to discover contemporary Ukrainian winemaking. Wines from leading Ukrainian producers were presented during the event.
Participants highlighted the distinctive character of Ukrainian grape varieties and their unique style. Particular attention was drawn to Odesa Black, one of Ukraine’s key indigenous varieties, which clearly demonstrates the potential of Ukrainian winemaking.

We express our sincere gratitude to Oleksandra Minenko-Descamps for representing Ukraine at the international level and for promoting Ukrainian wine in France.
Ukrainian wine continues to open itself to the world, showcasing its uniqueness and cultural value.
