Wines of the Silver Land 2026: International Experts Selected the Best Wines of Transcarpathia

On June 27, the annual Wines of the Silver Land 2026 competition took place in Mukachevo, bringing together leading winemakers, wine experts, and enthusiasts for the fourth consecutive year to celebrate and promote the rich winemaking traditions of Transcarpathia.

More than a professional wine competition, the event serves as an important platform for preserving regional winemaking heritage, exchanging expertise, and strengthening international cooperation.

This year, the international jury included experts from Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Slovenia. Among them was Nataliia Burlachenko, CEO and owner of Big Wines and 46 Parallel Wine Group, who participated in the professional tasting and evaluation of the competition wines, sharing her extensive experience and expertise in the wine industry.

The participation of an international panel of judges once again confirmed the high standard of the competition and fostered valuable professional dialogue among winemakers from different countries.

On June 28, the historic Palanok Castle hosted a presentation of wines from the international guests alongside the competition winners. The event provided an excellent opportunity to discover outstanding wines, exchange professional insights, and establish new partnerships.
