During the 46th World Congress of Vine and Wine, held under the auspices of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), Mr. Ricardo F. Nunez was officially presented with the “Merit Award” in recognition of his outstanding contribution.

This prestigious international distinction is more than just an award - it is a symbol of deep gratitude for his faith in Ukraine, for his years of unwavering support in the most challenging times, and for his strategic role in the development and global promotion of Ukrainian winemaking.

Ricardo Nunez is more than a patron - he is a visionary who believed in Ukrainian wine from the very beginning, investing in the development of vineyards, modern technologies, professional teams, and a culture of winemaking. His personal commitment to the industry amid wartime has become a model of true leadership, foresight, and humanity.

As the founder and owner of the international group of companies Vinos de La Luz, which unites vineyards and wineries in Spain, Italy, Argentina, the USA, and Ukraine, Mr. Nunez continues to play a key role in shaping the new face of Ukrainian winemaking.
