At the beginning of September, at the invitation of Mykolaiv National Agrarian University, Big Wines, together with Natalia Burlachenko, had the pleasure of taking part in the Craft Production Forum & Fair - an event that brought together people passionate about what they do, Ukrainian production, and the development of local brands.
During the first day of the forum, we had the opportunity to meet producers of wine, cheese, food products, and other craft goods. Behind every product presented at the fair is a great deal of work, a unique story, professional expertise, and a genuine desire to create high-quality Ukrainian products.

Events like this provide an opportunity not only to discover new producers, but also to see just how much potential Ukraine’s craft sector has.
One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the open dialogue between producers, business and education representatives, and industry experts. We discussed the challenges Ukrainian businesses are facing today, opportunities for growth, the importance of local production, and the prospects for bringing Ukrainian products to new markets.
The second day of the event was dedicated to the Ukrainian Winemakers Forum and Craft Products Festival. An important part of the programme was the presentation of the Mykolaiv Wine Cluster.

This initiative is particularly meaningful to us. Mykolaiv region has significant potential for the development of viticulture and winemaking, while bringing producers together within a cluster can become an important step towards strengthening the region, fostering cooperation and knowledge exchange, and building a recognizable wine identity for Mykolaiv.
Today, Ukrainian winemaking is about much more than wine. It is about places, people, traditions, modern technologies, local identity, and the economic development of communities. It is also a way to tell Ukraine’s story through products created here, on our land, by Ukrainian producers.
Events like this are especially important today because they create space for new connections, partnerships, and ideas. They help Ukrainian producers discover one another, join forces, and find new opportunities for growth even in challenging circumstances.
For Big Wines, it was a pleasure to be part of such a professional and inspiring environment - to connect with producers, winemakers, and like-minded people, exchange experiences, and feel the energy of those who continue to create, develop, and represent Ukrainian products.
We sincerely thank Mykolaiv National Agrarian University for the invitation, the excellent organization, and the opportunity to be part of this important initiative.
We believe that through partnerships like these, open dialogue, and support for Ukrainian producers, we can work together to develop a modern culture of craft production and winemaking in Ukraine.
Creating Ukrainian. Supporting Ukrainian. Sharing Ukrainian with the world.
