"Tyshchovesna" is a national initiative of the President of Ukraine that supports the creation and development of contemporary Ukrainian cultural projects.

Its idea is simple yet important: to support those who tell Ukrainian stories, create new meanings, and shape Ukraine’s cultural space - both at home and around the world.

During wartime, culture becomes another way to preserve our identity, speak about Ukraine in our own voice, and create content that can serve as an alternative to Russian information products.

Special attention is given to the younger generation. It is essential that children and young people grow up with an understanding of their own history, culture, and values, learn to critically evaluate information, and remain resilient to hostile influence.

"Tyshchovesna" creates opportunities for authors, creators, and teams who want to:

• create Ukrainian stories that resonate both in Ukraine and internationally;
• develop their own projects and professional teams;
• receive support for creating new cultural products;
• contribute to the growth of Ukraine’s cultural and creative industries;
• create projects that have not only cultural, but also commercial value.

The topics can be diverse - Ukrainian history and language, folklore and art, life during wartime, the security and defense forces, prominent Ukrainians, important professions, mental health, accessibility and inclusion, natural heritage, Ukraine’s future, and much more.

We believe that a strong culture begins with people who are not afraid to create something new and tell their own stories.
