An open lecture dedicated to strategies for promoting Ukrainian wine internationally was held at the Odesa National University of Technology, hosted by the Department of Wine Technology and Sensory Analysis.
The event brought together students, academics, and industry professionals, becoming an important platform for knowledge exchange and professional dialogue.
The keynote speaker was Nataliia Burlachenko, CEO and owner of Big Wines and 46 Parallel Wine Group, brand ambassador of the international group Vinos de La Luz, and Chairwoman of the Ukrainian Winegrowers and Winemakers Association.






The central focus of the lecture was the role of international competitions and exhibitions in advancing Ukrainian wines globally. It was emphasized that participation in such events is not only a matter of prestige but a strategic necessity for the industry’s growth.

Special attention was also given to the role of the Ukrainian Winegrowers and Winemakers Association as a unifying body within the industry. The Association plays a crucial role in protecting producers’ interests, fostering the development of winemaking, and providing professional support both nationally and internationally.
The lecture became a valuable source of practical knowledge and inspiration for future industry professionals. Participants gained meaningful insights, real-life case studies, and a deeper understanding of the current challenges and opportunities facing Ukrainian winemaking.
