As part of the Days of Science at the Institute of Wine Culture of Odesa National University of Technology (ONTU), the professional event "Pink Equator" took place - bringing together science, practical experience, and the modern culture of Ukrainian winemaking.
Big Wines was delighted to take part in this important initiative, which became a platform for open professional dialogue among researchers, winemakers, sommeliers, industry associations, students, and everyone passionate about the future of Ukrainian wine.

A highlight of the event was a professional tasting of rosé wines and clairets from Ukraine and other wine-producing countries. Participants had the opportunity not only to explore a wide range of styles and flavor profiles but also to compare production techniques, sensory characteristics, and the latest trends in rosé winemaking.

Events like this once again demonstrate that Ukrainian winemaking is developing rapidly, confidently integrating into the global wine community while creating its own distinctive identity that is attracting increasing international attention.
An important contribution to the event was made by the Ukrainian Vine & Wine Association (UVWA), which continues to support the development of Ukrainian winemaking, strengthen cooperation between producers, researchers, and educational institutions, and promote Ukrainian wine both at home and abroad.
For Big Wines, participating in events like these is an opportunity to be part of the professional wine community, support the advancement of wine science, and contribute to the promotion of Ukrainian wine.

We firmly believe that the future of Ukrainian winemaking is built where education, science, production, and professional collaboration come together. Initiatives like "Pink Equator" create new opportunities for innovation, knowledge sharing, and the continued growth of Ukrainian wine on the international stage.
Our sincere thanks to the organizers, partners, and all participants of "Pink Equator" for the inspiration, meaningful discussions, and shared commitment to the future of Ukrainian winemaking.
Together, we are shaping the future of Ukrainian wine.
